Jesse McCartney
Jesse A. McCartney (* 9. apríl 1987) je americký spevák a herec.
Osobný život
McCartney sa narodil v New Yorku. Jeho prarodičia, Dick a Joyce Saberovci, sú z Kalifornie. Jesse je škótskeho, írskeho a anglického pôvodu a je kresťan. V roku 1998 sa presťahovali do Ardsley v New Yorku, kde Jesse vyrastal a žil do roku 2004. Má brata Timmothyho (Timmy) Glovera Marka McCartneyho a sestru Leu McCartney. Jesse rád športuje, miluje napr. baseball, bowling a surfing (ktorý sa naučil v dobe natáčania Summerlandu).
Hudobná kariéra
V dvanástich sa Jesse pridal do chlapčenskej kapely Dream Street (2000-2002); túto skúsenosť ohodnotil ako dobré „odrazové miesto“ pre svojú sólovú kariéru. S ich debutovým albumom získali zlaté ocenenie. Skupina sa neskôr rozpadla a Jesse začal jazdit s Aaronom Carterom. Od šestnástich pracoval s muzikantami Dillonom Kondorom (gitara), Peterom Chemom (bassy), Katie Spencer (klávesy), Alexom Russekom (bicie), Karinou LaGravines (vokály) a Sharisse Francisc (druhý hlas v pozadí) pod vedením Ginger McCartney a Sherry Goffin Kondor, producentkou jeho prvého albumu Beautiful Soul.
McCartney vydal v roku 2003 jeho prvú dosku s názvom JMac. Album obsahoval tri songy - „Beautiful Soul“, „ Don't You“ a "Why don't You Kiss Her?“. V roku 2004 zaspieval duet s Anne Hathawayovou „Don't Go Breaking My Heart“, ktorý bol uvedený pre film Zakliata Ella.
Herecká kariéra
Ako prvý sa objavil v televíznom seriály „All My Children“ (1998-2001). Bol nominovaný na cenu Daytime Emmy za Talentovaného mladého seriálového herca vďaka roli J. R. Chandlera (dve nominácie v roku 2001 a 2002). V roku 2004-2005 hral Bradina Westerlyho v seriály Summerland, ktorý se stal trhákom pre Warner Bros. V ten istý rok nafotil módne fotky pre Abercrombie & Fitch.
McCartney zažiaril vo filme Keith. Jesse prepožičal svoj hlas postave Roxas do americkej počítačovej hry Kingdom Hearts II a hlas Petra pre DVD Tinkerbell (Disney). Jeho hlas v originálnom podaní môžete počuť ďalej ešte vo filmoch Horton alebo Alvin a chipmunkovia.
